Catherine is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with children, adolescents and families in both residential and outpatient settings using a client-centered approach to therapy. Catherine approaches clients and families based on the unique needs they have and pulls from evidenced-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral therapies, solution-focused and motivational approaches while building the therapeutic relationship. Catherine has worked with children who deal with addiction, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ODD, ADD/ADHD and families who have experienced trauma, attachment issues and behavioral concerns. Catherine believes that empowering children and families in learning and believing they have the tools to change is the foundation for the quality of life they can envision. In Catherine’s spare time, she loves to travel and explore new places, volunteer at a local animal shelter, and spend time with friends.
