Dr. Kennedy-Winston is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland and went to high school at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, MD. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University with a BS in Biology, Dr. Kennedy- Winston attended University of Maryland School of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where she was a Chief Resident. In addition to her passion for LGBTQIA+ care, she loves to try new restaurants, travel and hike with her wife, son and two dogs.
